Outdoor Living in New England

July 6, 2015

While memories of the #WorstWinter still linger across New England, summer’s arrival brings longer days and lots of time spent outside. The patio is the place for entertaining friends, a casual family barbeque where dad flexes his culinary muscle, reading that new novel and pool parties for the kids. This is what we love about living in New England and we’re always up for tips on perfecting the fiesta.  One thing we’ve noticed that has changed radically is the styling and comfort of outdoor furnishings. Those heavy, uncomfortable wrought iron relics are a thing of the past. Today’s outdoor furniture is lightweight, durable and is so comfortable you hardly know you aren’t sitting in your living room.  While out shopping this week in Boston and Providence, we stopped in to Jordan’s and really got an education on what is trending in outdoor furniture. The displays were well accessorized, the seating was spa-grade luxurious and there were some really good deals.  The toughest part is choosing what not to buy!
