The O'More Show House

A Showcase of the South’s Leading Designers

Thursday, May 12 through Friday, May 27, 2016

We love to celebrate the rich history of our Middle Tennessee heritage, especially when paired with interior design.  The Franklin, TN Historic District is a fine example of an area experiencing revitalization and growth while conserving the authenticity and character that defines it. For three years, The O'More Show House has celebrated this marriage of growth and preservation by welcoming leading interior designers to restore historic homes. This year's home sits on Franklin's historic Main Street, and 22 designers have undertaken a total renovation of the home's interior, while leaving the street-view exterior intact.

The 5,600-square-foot home is a circa 1919 brick and stucco Craftsman-style cottage and is a significant contributing property to the National Register-listed Hincheyville Historic District. Twenty two spaces in the home will exhibit the talent of various designers, all of whom have ties to O'More College of Design, a not-for-profit, four-year college offering a bachelor of fine arts degree. Proceeds of the event benefit the college's School of Interior Design.

The inspiring designs and renovation of the home are sure to wake your inner designer and leave you energized by the creativity on display in the historic home.  If you are in Middle TN or eager to visit Nashville this month, check out the The O'More Show House in Franklin.
